The Beauty Beneath the Blight Memory Map is an opportunity to geographically experience the landmarks, historical sites and life events from the community of West Baltimore. The map is a collective way to see where our honored interviewees have shared some of their life experiences growing up in Baltimore and neighboring areas. This collection of narratives allows for a portrait of West Baltimore to be painted and preserved for all to access. Lastly, we are able to sustain the influence of our honored interviewees through the fictional story Billie Back in Baltimore and the characters we have created.
